Sullivan Higdon & Sink’s (SHS) work for an artisan food company – Hippie Chow – earned top honors at the recent 2011 Kansas City ADDY Awards. SHS garnered the “Best of Branding” honor for the company’s flavors posters. In addition, the agency won four Gold awards for Hippie Chow advertising. Overall, SHS earned 21 awards for work with a number of clients.
“Every award is an honor, but I think we were all particularly pleased to be recognized with the Best of Branding distinction for our work with Hippie Chow,” said John January, senior vice president and executive creative director for SHS. “Our agency’s focus is to create remarkable brands. To have our peers recognize our work is extremely gratifying.”
In addition to Hippie Chow, SHS won awards for some of its work with American Century Investments, Cal-Ann Farms, Merial and Shatto Milk Company.
“We were thrilled to see more of our clients represented in this year’s event,” said January. “It speaks to the breadth and scope of our work, and demonstrates our clients are committed to creativity and innovation to produce work that stands out from the rest.”
The SHS entries that earned ADDY gold and silver will move on to the next round of competition – the regional ADDY Awards.
