At SHS, we hate sheep. Seriously. We don’t just dislike them, or find them mildly annoying. We full-on hate them. And we’re dedicated to furthering our philosophy that sheep are indeed very, very bad. Truth be told, we don’t much care for anything or anyone that’s content to blend in or follow the flock.

One of the ways we spread our woolly belief system is through the annual hiring of summer interns. And this isn’t some coffee-getting, copy-making real-world experience* either. Interns are assigned to one of our existing teams, and they work on real projects for real clients. For real money, even. It’s pretty dang cool.

Internships begin the first Tuesday following Memorial Day and continue through the month of August. Applications are available now (PDF) and are due by the first Friday of March. Students must have completed their junior year of college or have at least 90 credit hours to be considered. Internships are available at all three SHS locations.

*Interns are responsible for taking care of Sully, our miniature sheep mascot. It’s important to know that while small and not especially intimidating, Sully does bite and kick. Successful candidates are required to be current on all shots and vaccinations.
